Born in 1980 in Egbeda, Osita Osadebe was a student in Tygerberg College, Pretoria, South Africa.
He had a background in classical music and a keen interest in the American folk music, he later moved to the United States where he completed his university education in 2000. In 2001, Osita Osadebe started his career as an entertainment promoter. In 2003, he founded BrainRock Studios. In 2004, he joined the hit American R&B girl group TLC for four years. After an argument with TLC’s manager, Osita Osadebe quit the group and started his solo career.
